“Becoming is better than being.”

Carol S. Dweck

I am a Licensed Limited Master Social Worker (LLMSW) working toward full clinical licensure. My decision to pursue a career in social work was informed by my own experience in psychotherapy, which motivated me to further my education and contribute to reducing stigma surrounding mental health care.

I approach clinical work with respect for each client’s individuality and life experiences, recognizing that personal history and lived experiences play a significant role in psychological functioning and overall well-being. My practice emphasizes a client-centered, trauma-informed framework that acknowledges the impact of life stressors and adversity on mental health.

My professional experience includes work in adult substance use recovery settings, children’s community mental health services, and over two years of providing psychotherapy under supervision in private practice clinical environments. Through these roles, I have developed clinical experience addressing substance use disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attachment-related concerns, and trauma-related presentations.

I utilize evidence-based interventions and tailor treatment approaches to meet each client’s clinical needs. Modalities incorporated into treatment may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based interventions, exposure therapy, meditation practices, and play-based therapeutic techniques when clinically appropriate. My goal is to provide a structured, ethical, and supportive therapeutic environment that promotes stability, insight, and meaningful progress in each client's life.
