Jessica Soos is a highly accomplished Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Her therapeutic style is highly collaborative, relationship-oriented, practical, empathic, and goal-focused. Jessica received a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Indiana University and a Master of Arts degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago. Jessica developed her career and clinical skills in nationally recognized acute hospital systems in Chicago, IL- in direct practice and as a supervisory leader and executive. This trajectory cultivated insight and lifelong interest in supporting and coaching women and mothers in roles of executive leadership.
Jessica has achieved the esteemed credential of Accredited Case Manager, has presented at numerous conferences, and is a trained facilitator in Organizational Culture, Change, and Engagement. She is past president for the Society for Social Work Leadership in Health Care, Chicago District. Her academic interests include cultural humility and activism in the workplace. Her diverse areas of focus reflect her commitment to understanding and addressing the complex interplay between individual well-being and societal factors.
Jessica is a former Instructor and Field Consultant at the University of Chicago for the SSA graduate program, where she taught Applied Theory seminar and had oversight of student field internships. Jessica’s extensive experience advising and counseling students across diverse settings has fostered a passion for mentorship and the development of future social work professionals. As a clinician and educator, Jessica supports self-awareness and commitment to learning as instrumental to the process of growth and change throughout the lifetime.
