Psychiatric and Psychological Specialties seeks experienced psychotherapists to join our virtual practice, complementing our physical locations in St. Joseph, Michigan, and Chicago, Illinois. Position: Full-time Independent Contractor Position with competitive split based on years of experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct weekly psychotherapy for 25-30 patients with prompt (<24h) documentation (requires two-three evenings per week, Saturday possible).
Effectively assess and manage patient risk, collaborating on safety plans as needed.
Maintain punctuality for appointments and meetings.
Culturally sensitive care for diverse patients.
Perform thorough patient assessments.
Provide guidance to other healthcare professionals.
Additional Duties (Optional):
Complete comprehensive psychological evaluations (1-2 monthly).
Lead psychoeducation classes or workshops.
Qualifications and Experience
Clinical psychologists, social workers, counselors, or marriage & family therapists
Strong team collaboration and communication skills
Excellent time management and organization
Interpersonal skills and professionalism
Active Michigan and/or Illinois clinical license
Ph.D. or Psy.D., LMSW, LPC, or LMFT from an approved graduate program
Ideal Specialties
Generalists with flexibility
Couple and Family experts with at least 5 years of relevant experience
Experience in assessments, couples, and family therapy
Benefits
Compensation: $60,000-$150,000 based on candidate's drive
Independent contractor role (1099)
