We believe mental health services achieve the best results when they are comprehensive. Taking the time to gather the information necessary to form a complete picture of an individual’s family history, developmental background, and clinical needs improves the quality and efficacy of treatment. This can only happen in a compassionate atmosphere in which the client comes first.

At Psychiatric & Psychological Specialties counseling services and drug treatment are not seen as separate routes to recovery but, rather, options that may compliment each other in a successful treatment plan. Similarly, medical professionals are not seen as responsible for addressing only a small portion of a client’s psychological concerns but, rather, for treating the whole person.

Clients are best served by caring professionals who seek to identify the underlying causes of mental health issues and provide clarity and insight when recommending treatment. The path to emotional health lies in a compassionate, multidisciplinary approach that empowers individuals and their families to make informed choices about which services are the best fit for their needs.
