Elizabeth Brown, MA, LPC

Elizabeth Brown is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology as well as a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling.

Elizabeth values a holistic approach to psychotherapy by integrating mental, physical, social, and spiritual aspects of the patients life. Because there is not a “one size fits all” approach to psychotherapy, Elizabeth works to help patient’s gain a greater self-awareness and understanding about their own actions by aiding them to identify and explore how their own emotions and motivations influence their behavior. Elizabeth also is able to teach strategies and tools for dealing with emotional stress, unhealthy thoughts, and behaviors in order that patients may be able to manage their own symptoms better and function in everyday life.

Prior to becoming a professional counselor, Elizabeth served over 20 years in various non-profit organizations mentoring and teaching children, adolescents, and adults. She effectively works with patients on issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, panic and phobias, as well as eating disorders, personality disorders, self-mutilation, lost & grief, adjustment in life stages, social skills, and communication.
